The Jones High School Marching Band has received the invitation to participate in the 2016 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. This honor is a very high accomplishment for the Jones High School Band program. The selection committee wrote that it was “impressed by the Band’s background and credentials”. This prestigious invitation is unique and honors our city through the recognition of the band’s student members, director, parents and supporters. The Band must raise nearly $100,000 to fund its participation in the four-day event in the Nation’s Capital.
All tax-deductible donations will help make this dream trip a reality for these deserving youth…and our great city.
